Rachael Mancini

Registered Counselling Therapist- Candidate (RCT-C22-039)

Rachael Mancini is a Registered Counselling Therapist- Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT). Rachael has experience working with a diverse range of clientele in a variety of settings, including vulnerable youth and marginalized populations.

At this Practice, Rachael provides therapy services for children and adolescents presenting with anxiety and depression, and adjustments issues related to major life transitions. Rachael focuses on building a strong, trusting relationship with her clients by establishing a safe and comfortable environment. Rachael’s approach is client-focused, tailoring treatment plans to align with the strengths and needs of each unique individual. Rachael incorporates evidence-based (EB) modalities including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment models of therapy (ACT) in her practice. She engages in furthering her education through consultation, workshops, and supervision.

Rachael was born in Cape Breton where she often visits to see her family, go hiking, and hang out at the beach. She grew up in Dartmouth and hopes to continue contributing to the downtown Dartmouth community in her role as a therapist.
