Abigail Howard-Gosse, M.Sc., Candidate Register Psychologist (C10894)
Abigail (Abby) began working at the Practice as an intern in October 2020 and joined the practice as a Psychologist (Candidate Register) in December 2021. She graduated from Acadia University’s Master of Science in Clinical Psychology Program in October 2021. Abby provides both psychotherapy and assessment services and has a broad background working with various mental health challenges. She has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents presenting with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Abby primarily uses evidence based (EB) cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment models of therapy (ACT). For assessments, she offers services for clients experiencing learning challenges, attention difficulties, or mental health struggles. She focuses on building a strong connection with each of her clients to formulate how best to meet their individual needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat Salem.
